Medical weight loss with tirzepatide.

Weekly GLP-1 injections given in our office, at the dose that’s right for you, with regular check-ins with Dr. Franks.

When diet and exercise aren’t moving the scale.

Tirzepatide is a GLP-1 medication. It works with the hormones that control appetite and blood sugar, so you feel full sooner and cravings quiet down. Taken once a week, it can make the changes you’re already working on finally show up.

A good fit if you’re dealing with:

  • Weight that hasn’t budged despite real effort
  • Constant cravings or never feeling full
  • Weight gain around perimenopause or menopause
  • Insulin resistance or blood sugar that runs high

How it works.

Medical care first, and no cookie-cutter program.

I feel so much better in so many ways! My weight is coming off, but also my mood is better. I am not feeling stiff and mentally foggy any more. My labs are so much better. I am amazed at all the benefits and so grateful to be able to do this under the care of my provider.

More than a prescription.

As a naturopathic practice, we look at what’s behind the weight too. Many patients add infrared sauna sessions, which support metabolism and detox and often help them move past a plateau.

Eating less can also mean taking in fewer vitamins and minerals. Our $249 micronutrient test, a simple blood draw with no fasting, shows whether you’re getting enough of each one as the weight comes off.

Questions we hear often.

Do I have to give myself the injections?

No. Our nurse or medical assistant gives your injection in the office each week. If you’d rather do it at home, we’ll show you how.

How do you choose my dose?

Dose is set for you, not on a fixed schedule everyone has to follow. Dr. Franks adjusts it at your check-ins based on your progress and how you’re feeling.

What about side effects?

We watch for side effects closely, and many of our patients never have any. When they do happen, the most common are nausea and constipation, and adjusting your dose usually helps.

Is the tirzepatide compounded?

Yes. We use compounded tirzepatide. Compounded medications are prepared for individual patients and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety or effectiveness. Dr. Franks will walk you through what that means at your consult.

Ready to find balance?

New patients are welcome at both offices. Book online, or call and we'll help you find the right first visit.
